This Privacy Policy explains how Brew & Breathe (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use this app.

Section 1 — Information we collect

Information you give us: when you sign up to access a ritual, we collect your name and email address.

Information collected automatically: with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used. This includes technical information such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, and how you interact with the app. This only happens if you accept analytics cookies - see our Cookie Policy.

We do not currently process any payment information through this app.

Section 2 — How we use your information

We use your information to give you access to the rituals you sign up for, to send you emails about Brew & Breathe if you have opted in, to understand how the app is used so we can improve it, and to keep the app secure and working properly.

Section 3 — Our legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR we rely on: consent, for analytics cookies and marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time; legitimate interests, to operate and improve the app securely; and contract, to provide the content you have signed up for.

Section 4 — Who we share your information with

Google (Google Analytics) processes usage data on our behalf; this may involve data being processed outside the UK, and Google provides its own safeguards for this - see Google’s Privacy Policy. Squarespace, our website platform, hosts the app and processes data as our data processor. We do not sell your personal information.

Section 5 — How long we keep your information

We keep your contact information for as long as you remain subscribed, and analytics data for the retention period set in our analytics account. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Section 6 — Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we have mishandled your data.

Section 7 — Children

This app is not intended for children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
